EPISODE 10 - Charlie from My Eco Order
When I decided to launch the Sustainable 2020 Christmas IG Live Series I knew I had to had a local refill station or Zero Packaging shop in the list of sustainable local business on board.
I contacted Charlie and Milda and they were happy to jump on board, as they live through and through wanting to reduce the impact that us human produce to the environment.
The started with their own day to day life and taking it from there this year they launched My Eco Order.
They have a clear Just Cause (as Simon Sinek would call it) and that their dream to put it into practise in South East London, has become a sound success is an understatement.
They offer package free: food and drinks, toiletries, cleaning products and gifts.
We look forward to have a chat with them in the new year, where Charlie will share their journey give us tips about how to reduce our carbon footprint, not just on Christmas, but all year around.

Some of you may already know us plus Yuka and FuggleWhump from Hilly Fields.
We're just two local girls and two dogs who care deeply about minimising our environmental impact, and helping others in our communities to do the same.
Together we organise regular litter picks in the park, and after many discussions decided to join forces on what was My Eco Order, and is now a physical shop My Eco Brockley which is at 7b Harefield Road, and you can also find Charlie offering Broadway Market, Hackney, refills and other sustainable products each Saturday.
Everything My Eco Order supplies makes a difference to people and the planet. We hope to help you keep your weekly shop ethical, local, cruelty free and earth-friendly which isn't easy, especially in todays new normal.

The average British person will have emitted more carbon dioxide in the first two weeks of this year than a citizen of any one of seven African nations does in an entire year; these countries are some of the poorest and least equipped to cope with the Climate Crisis, however these countries will be some of the worst affected by Climate Change.
